The tutor model sits with the student. It explains the next step. It does not become a general chatbot.
The job
A student stops on a line, an example or a question. The tutor answers that, using the lesson the teacher approved and the level set for this student. If the question leaves the lesson, it says so and points back.
What the student gets
- A step-by-step explanation of the stuck point.
- Another example at the same level when the first one did not land.
- A stop when the question is outside the lesson.
- A record the teacher can read.
Can the student ask anything?
They can ask about the work in front of them. The model will not open a new subject or invent a source.
